Who This Course Is For
This course is aimed specifically at those who use sensory assessment in the evaluation of such products as foodstuffs, cosmetics and beverages. The course starts at an introductory level but quickly proceeds to the application of statistics within sensory evaluation.
By the end of the 2-day course you will be able to:
Interpret differences and preference tests
Analyse data from ranks, ratings or scores
Compare panel data from different products using Analysis of Variance
Measure the performance of a panel
Optimise sampling for quality assessment
Analyse profile data
Design trials to compare products
Design trials in which assessors cannot assess all treatments
