Peter Van Bruggen

Peter’s motto when lecturing is ‘Keep it Simple’. You’ll find that’s also the approach he takes when designing experiments and improving process control. Peter will use his 10 years of experience with Unilever focusing on Statistical Process Control and Design of Experiments to show you the tricks of the trade. His aim is always to make the whole process less complicated for those working in processing or supply chain.

Peter began work as a research analytical chemist with Unilever before qualifying as a statistician and moving to the company’s statistical department. Since then he has advised many of his colleagues in making the best use of statistics and has also trained hundreds of Unilever employees around the world in both Statistical Process Control and Design of Experiments. He’s even developed an app now used extensively at Unilever to make set up of a Design of Experiment easier.
